Leah Abbs
Leah is the Owner & Lead Event Planner for Dare to Dream Events
Her passion for planning, designing, and executing events started well over 20 years ago, when she decided to take the leap from restaurant management to becoming a Catering and Conference Services Manager. After being part of 4 Las Vegas hotel opening teams (which was a whirlwind experience when she thinks about it), Leah worked her way up the ranks becoming a Director of Catering and Conference Services. Leah’s passion for planning and dedication to her clients, gave her extensive experience in executing large scale corporate meetings, events, galas, festivals, tradeshows and weddings. Ultimately, she found her true passion for weddings and with that, Dare to Dream Events was born in 2015. Playing such an important role in each couple’s special day and seeing their friends and family come together to celebrate their union and watch it come to fruition, is the most incredible and rewarding feeling. It’s the reason why Leah is so passionate and dedicated in executing a flawless event for each of her couples and clients.

She has a beautiful, blind, special needs daughter, who is her life, heart & soul
She has been with her husband 24 years
She used to be a professional backup dancer
She has her degree in Interior Designing
Loves volunteering for charities. Especially for the Little Miss Hannah Foundation, which she is one of the Board of Directors.
She is a firm believer of annual girls’ trips and girls’ night

Ashley Zizic
Ashley’s role for Dare to Dream Events is as the Lead Event Planner and Business Development Manager
Ashley has always been passionate about events. In 2015 she attended the International School of Hospitality and obtained a certificate in wedding coordination and design. Once graduating, she became a Catering Sales Manager at several Las Vegas hotel properties and an Operations Manager for an international destination management company. During this time, she began to understand that her true passion lied within weddings and social events. Ashley has spent the last several years developing vendor relationships and working to become a confidant for her couples. Her favorite part of a wedding day is seeing all the hard work and dedication that comes from our vendor partners and witnessing the couples vision come to life.
Get to know Ashley:
She has 2 fur babies, Charlie Rose, a Golden Retriever and Miller, a Golden Retriever Mix that are her entire world
She is beyond ecstatic that cheetah is making its comeback and will find any excuse to incorporate it into her outfit
She has been with her husband for 8 years and married for 3
Being by the water with a cocktail in her hand is her happy place
She takes happy hour and brunch very seriously – it’s her life sport
Ebony Stephens
Ebony is a retired Senior Crime Scene Investigator with a passion for event planning. During her 23 years in law enforcement, she had the opportunity to work with some nonprofit organizations planning conferences and social events. After Ebony planned her own wedding, she realized the extent of her love for event planning and decided that would be her next chapter. Prior to retiring, Ebony went to school for conference management and event planning.
